UBEC Partners with UNICEF to Strengthen Nigeria’s Foundational Learning and Education Outcomes

The Executive Secretary of UBEC met with Vanessa Lee, Chief of Education, and Munamuzunga Sikaulu from @UNICEF_Nigeria today for insightful discussions on strengthening foundational learning, ECCDE, and improving learning outcomes for the Nigerian child. Our conversation focused on the need for all development partners to align efforts in line with Government priorities in increasing access to Basic education, enhancing teacher development, improving quality assurance, and deepening community engagement.

Data-driven decision-making and sustainable financing remain essential in building a more resilient education system. UNICEF reaffirmed its commitment to these shared priorities, ensuring the provision of technical assistance for measurable impact and lasting change. Collaboration and shared accountability remain key to transforming the education system to ensure no child is left behind #UBEC
