In a dynamic move to combat learning poverty in Nigerian Basic Education schools, UBEC partnered with USAID LEARN to Read for an impactful initiative. 📚

Recently, a 3-day workshop was held from 25th to 27th March 2023 at Sawalino Hotel, Keffi, Nasarawa State. The workshop centred on reviewing Expression of Interest submissions by States for the UBEC Early Grade Reading (EGR) Result-Based Financing programme (RBF).

In attendance were UBEC Deputy Executive Secretary (Technical), Prof. Bala Zakari, National Coordinator of the USAID Learn to Read Project, Prof. Toun Akinsolu and members of her team, as well as The Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) Technical Working Group (TWG) on EGR RBF programme.🤝 This collaborative effort underscores our unwavering commitment to enhancing educational outcomes and uplifting communities.
