UBEC Kicks Off National Teacher Training and Unveils Sensitization Materials on Moral Reorientation and Regeneration in Basic Education

The Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) officially launched a national teacher training program and unveiled sensitization materials on moral reorientation and regeneration in basic education on October 9, 2024, at the UBEC Digital Resource Centre in Abuja. This initiative aims to equip teachers with the skills to integrate moral and ethical values into their teaching practices, emphasizing the importance of fostering responsible and socially conscious students. Sensitization materials, including posters, booklets, and digital resources, were introduced to promote discussions around ethics, national values, and good citizenship in classrooms nationwide.

Dr. Danjuma hails from Bauchi State. He obtained M.Sc Public Administration and Policy Analysis from the University of Abuja, MBA form Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and Ph.D Economics from the Loughborough University, UK.
