On October 17, 2024, Dr. Hamid Bobboyi, the Executive Secretary of the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC), along with key members of the management team and the Union Chairman, made a formal visit to the Honorable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Barr. Ezenwo Nyesom Wike. The visit aimed to strengthen collaboration between UBEC and the FCT administration on critical educational initiatives and explore opportunities for enhancing basic education within the FCT.
