UBEC Executive Secretary Addresses National Assembly, Advocates for Strengthened Basic Education Framework

The Executive Secretary, @AishaMGarba , addressed the National Assembly at the public hearing on the amendment of the UBEC Act, 2004.

She expressed appreciation to the Deputy President of the Senate, Distinguished Senator Barau Jibrin @barauijibrin , the minority leader distinguished Senator Abba Moro, Senator Lawal Adamu Usman, @mrla7411 Chairman of the Senate Committee on Education (Basic and Secondary) @Sen_mrla_media Rt. Hon. Mark Bako Useni, Chairman of the House Committee on Basic Education Services, and all esteemed members of the Committee for their commitment to strengthening Nigeria’s basic education framework.

The ES emphasised the importance of legislative engagement, transparency, and collaboration in advancing access to quality basic education.

We remain committed to working with all stakeholders, government institutions and civil society to ensure every Nigerian child receives the education they deserve.

Dr. Danjuma hails from Bauchi State. He obtained M.Sc Public Administration and Policy Analysis from the University of Abuja, MBA form Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and Ph.D Economics from the Loughborough University, UK.
