UBEC Equips Smart School Teachers to Create Engaging Digital Learning Resources

In a move to revolutionize learning experiences in UBE Model Smart Schools, the UBEC Digital Resource Centre (DRC) has successfully concluded a 5-day capacity building workshop.
The workshop focused on empowering educators with the skills to create their own engaging digital learning resources for blended learning environments.

A group of UBE Model Smart Schools teachers participated in the intensive training programme.
Dr. Hamid Bobboyi, Executive Secretary of UBEC, emphasized the importance of this initiative: “We are committed to fostering innovation in our schools. By equipping teachers with the necessary skills to create digital learning resources, we are transforming education and delivering interactive student experiences.”

Prof. Bashir Galadanci, National Coordinator of the DRC, highlighted the workshop’s impact: “This programme represents a paradigm shift for UBE Smart Schools. By equipping educators with instructional design skills and tools like Canva and iSpring Suite, we are paving the way for a future of dynamic and impactful learning.”

Dr. Danjuma hails from Bauchi State. He obtained M.Sc Public Administration and Policy Analysis from the University of Abuja, MBA form Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and Ph.D Economics from the Loughborough University, UK.
