UBEC and Islamic Development Bank Discuss Education Initiatives to Boost Quality Learning in Nigeria

The Executive Secretary of the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC), Aisha Garba, met with representatives of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) to discuss initiatives aimed at enhancing access to quality education in Nigeria.

The engagement focused on integrating formal and non-formal education curricula to promote inclusivity and strengthen foundational learning. Key priorities also included expanding access to underserved communities and aligning interventions with national strategies to improve learning outcomes and system efficiency.

This collaboration reinforces UBEC’s vision of ensuring equitable access to quality education for all children and aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda to drive systemic reforms that enhance learning and strengthen the education sector.
