As part of the rollout of the revised Basic Education Action Plan (BEAP), the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) has commenced a two-day interactive workshop for its resource team and selected state desk officers.
The workshop features hands-on training, group exercises, and peer learning sessions. It aims to strengthen participants’ capacity to use the Rapid Assessment Tool and the new BEAP template, enhance their facilitation skills for cascading the training to SUBEBs, and outline strategies for providing sustained technical support during BEAP development.
Declaring the workshop open, UBEC Executive Secretary, Aisha Garba, emphasized the importance of continuous capacity building and reaffirmed the Commission’s commitment to supporting states in delivering quality and inclusive basic education nationwide.
