CODE Team Pays Courtesy Visit to UBEC Executive Secretary to Discuss Basic Education Development

The Executive Secretary of the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC), Aisha Garba, recently received a courtesy visit from Connected Development (CODE), led by its Chief Executive, Hamzat Lawal, along with his team.

The purpose of the visit was to explore potential collaboration opportunities between CODE and UBEC, particularly in the development of the Basic Education sub-sector. The team sought to discuss ways to monitor UBEC activities across the country, with the goal of enhancing the quality of basic education in Nigeria.

This meeting marks an important step towards fostering partnerships and driving positive change in the education sector.

Dr. Danjuma hails from Bauchi State. He obtained M.Sc Public Administration and Policy Analysis from the University of Abuja, MBA form Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and Ph.D Economics from the Loughborough University, UK.
